► Acupuncture
The basic principle of Acupuncture is to realign and rebalance the energy in the body. There are 14 main meridian pathways in your body through which energy (Qi) flows. An obstruction in your meridian system can be caused by an injury (trauma), lack of movement, many lifestyle components, and/or lack or over-abundance of dietary intake. Acupuncture and other Chinese Medical techniques help to clear the pathway and restore health.

First Office Visit = $90
Return Visit = $70

► Bodywork Modalities that our Therapists may utilize in their sessions with you:
· Deep Tissue Massage:
Deep Tissue Massage is designed to access the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to help release chronic tension, decrease pain and facilitate faster recovery from injury. Deep Tissue Massage techniques are generally designed for more focused massage work. Working a specific joint, muscle or muscle groups, the practitioner can access deep layers of the soft tissue. Starting superficially and slowly easing into the depth of the muscle often allows for more movement. This technique is excellent for treating injuries and can help release chronic tension.
· Swedish / Relaxation
Ideal for overall relaxation and health maintenance, this popular style of massage combines long strokes, kneading and friction techniques. It can help to improve circulation, revitalize stagnant energy and offer release from general muscle and nervous system tension.
· Trigger Point Therapy / Neuromuscular Technique
This technique consists of applying concentrated pressure to painful, irritated areas in muscles to break cycles of spasm and pain. It works with the relationship between soft tissue and the nervous system.
· Sports Massage
Designed to help prevent injuries, enhance performance and promote rehabilitation for athletes, Sports Massage can include soft tissue massage, stretching techniques and gentle range of motion exercises to restore function to muscles and joints before, during and following sporting events. The depth and pace of the massage session can vary depending on the activity level, duration and event timing.
· Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a deep tissue technique that focuses on the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones and organs. Myofascial Release can be gentle or rigorous (depending on the need) and is an excellent choice for many conditions, including postural distortions, chronic pain and fibromyalgia.
· Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage can be an excellent way to reduce swelling, joint pain and tension in the low back, neck and shoulders that is common during pregnancy. Side-lying and “propping” techniques are used to ensure the comfort and safety of both mother and baby.
· Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, yet powerful non-invasive technique that assesses and addresses the wave-like movement of cerebral spinal fluid in the body. Practitioners can aid in the facilitation of change in areas of restriction where the fluidity is limited. By using a light touch the practitioner can assist in creating a more rhythmic and balanced motion. This therapy is particularly useful for mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ syndrome and chronic nerve conditions.
· *Acupuncture*
Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on the vital energy within the body, called Qi (pronouced "chee"). Treatments often involve the insertion of tiny needles along vital energetic pathways in the body. These needles are about the size of a human hair and insertion causes, at most, only minimal discomfort (most clients feel nothing at all). Chinese Medicine is a healing modality that has been used for centuries. Virtually free of side-effects, it is appropriate for all cultures and people. Patients get one-on-one time with their practitioner, they are thoroughly evaluated and then receive treatment that works on root causes, not just symptom relief. This form of medicine has a way of bringing each individual closer to their own healing process, and produces results!... Learn more about Acupuncture.
